Two Vicksburg teens face robbery charges in the theft of $130 from a man walking on Bowmar Avenue Sunday night, Vicksburg police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.

Stewart said Willie Lyons, 18, 1210 Jackson St., was being held without bond at the Vicksburg Police Department pending an initial appearance today in Municipal Court. He said a 16-year-old also arrested was referred to the Warren County Youth Detention Facility. The juvenile’s name was not released because of his age.

They are accused of attacking and robbing the man while he was walking in the area of Bowmar and Washington Street at about 11:15 p.m. Sunday. They were arrested at 11:20 p.m. at Washington and Speed streets, Stewart said.
