Beginning Friday morning, the intersection of Cherry and Main streets will become a four-way stop, according to Vicky McMillin with the City of Vicksburg Engineering Department.

The change comes after several citizens reported that the intersection is dangerous and has almost caused accidents, McMillin said.

The change will go into effect at 8 a.m. Friday.
