Bovina

• Sixth-graders presented “Stomp,” a musical presentation using unconventional items. A celebration marking their year’s achievements followed.

• Mini-Millionaire Club members were recognized with pizza and a day at Catfish Row.

• Cooling with the Cowboys, the year-end Accelerated Reader celebration, featured 157 students who had met AR goals with 85 percent accuracy for the fourth nine weeks. Additionally, 76 students attended the final Accelerated Reader buddy picnic. Devon Luster was recognized for having the most Accelerated Reader points for the fourth nine weeks; Cooper Madison was recognized for having the highest AR percentage.

• Bovina Bucks leaders for the week were the classes of Missy Davis and Teresa Kitchens.

• Shawn Lee’s second grade was treated to a waterslide celebration for Case 21 efforts. The class also received 40 library books from a parent.
