A Vicksburg man just released from prison was back in jail this morning.

Samuel Matthews, 21, 204 Kendra Drive, was released Wednesday from Walnut Grove Youth Correction Facility into the custody of Warren County Sheriff’s Department to face arraignment for possession of cocaine charges from Vicksburg police, according to jail records.

Matthews is accused of having crack cocaine during a traffic stop Feb. 2, police Capt. Bobby Stewart said. Matthews had been indicted for the charge on May 7, but could not be arraigned because he was in Walnut Grove, Stewart said.
