E.J. and Kay Dennis of Ellisville announce the engagement of their daughter, Cynthia Denise, to Joseph Anthony Coccaro Jr., also of Ellisville. Mr. Coccaro is the son of Joe and Janice Coccaro of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect received a degree in elementary education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She received a master’s degree in education from William Carey University. She is a fourth-grade teacher at North Jones Elementary.

The prospective groom attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He is general manager at Conestoga Steak House.

Vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. June 23, 2012, at Franklin United Methodist Church in Laurel. A reception will follow at the Train Depot in Laurel. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
