Johnston, Allen are wed April 28

Andrew Joseph Johnston and Tracy Danielle Allen were married at 5 p.m. April 28, 2012, at Crawford Street United Methodist Church. The Rev. Cary Stockett officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Allen of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Charles C. and Thelma Lois Allen of Delhi and the late Rolly M. and Mary L. Greer of Vicksburg.
The groom is the son of Nita Johnston of Clinton and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Johnston of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. Walter E. Johnston, the late Joseph P. “Pete” Pahnka and the late Juanita K. Pahnka, all of Vicksburg.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride’s chosen colors were persimmon and butter. Musicians were Dorothy Brasfield, organist; Sandy Shugars, violinist; and Marie Cunningham, flutist.
Matron of honor was Kristen “Nikki” Nutt, sister of the bride, of Vicksburg. Bridesmaids were Shannon Daniels, sister of the bride, of Vicksburg and Abby Johnston, sister of the groom, of Oxford.
Flower girl was Mary Taylor Nutt, niece of the bride, of Vicksburg.
The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Ables of Pearl and Jake Wallace of Vicksburg.
Jennifer Grey served as special wedding assistant.
A reception followed at the B’nai B’rith Literary Club. For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Gatlinburg, Tenn.
They will make their home in Vicksburg. The bride is employed at Mutual Credit Union, and the groom is employed with the Engineers Research and Development Center.
