Today

9 a.m.-3 p.m. — Volunteers and Vicksburg National Military Park rangers in uniforms from battles dating to the Revolutionary War with displays; park Visitor Center.

10 a.m.-3 p.m. — 4th Annual Holt Collier Sacred Harp Singing; courtroom at Old Court House Museum; 601-636-0741.

2-4 p.m. — U.S. Air Force Reserve Brass Quintet concert of military and Civil War-era music; USS Cairo Museum at Vicksburg National Military Park.

All day — U.S. flags are on display at 18,000 graves at the Vicksburg National Cemetery in the Vicksburg National Military Park.

Monday

10 a.m. — Parade of veterans on Washington Street from Belmont to Jackson.

11 a.m. — Memorial Service, Vicksburg Auditorium; speaker, Command Sgt. Maj. Jeffrey L. Riggs, 184th Expeditionary Sustainment Command.

12:30 p.m. — Veterans’ groups will lay a wreath on the grave of an unknown soldier; Vicksburg National Cemetery at Vicksburg National Military Park.

3 p.m. — Staff and visitors to the Vicksburg National Military Park will pause for one minute of silence in tribute to all men and women who died in service to the nation.

All day — U.S. flags are on display at 18,000 graves at the Vicksburg National Cemetery in the Vicksburg National Military Park.
