HOLLANDALE — Virgie Stevenson of Hollandale died Friday, May 25, 2012, at Ochsner’s Hospital in New Orleans. She was 56.

Mrs. Stevenson was a part-time home health worker.

She is survived by one daughter, Knottissia Jackson of Hollandale; her mother, Ida Williams Warfield of Panther Burn; two brothers, Donnie Stevenson of Panther Burn and Joe Willie Stevenson of Sacramento, Calif.; and two sisters, Linda Faye Stevenson and Jeanette Warfield, both of Panther Burn.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Chapel of the Cross Church in Nitta Yuma with Pastor Eugene Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery in Sago, Miss. Visitation will be from 5 until 6 p.m. Friday at Walker Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.
