I started walking in January and there are a couple of areas where the sidewalk was covered in dirt and would become muddy after a rain. On May 18, I sent an email to the Action Line asking them to be cleaned, provided it fell within the city’s responsibility. I truly did not think anything would be done but decided to give it a shot anyway. Today, May 24, the areas were cleaned and I am very appreciative. In this time when people are so quick to call public attention to areas in which they feel the city fails, I thought I would give them credit where credit is due. The action line works and I am saying Kudos to the City of Vicksburg Action Line!
