Mr. Thigpen, Miss Donerson wed in Florida

Jason William Henry Thigpen and DeAnna Denise Donerson, both of Bay Springs, were married at 6 p.m. April 14, 2012, at Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Pattie Terjak officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Georgia Donerson and Larry Donerson Sr. of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Marie Williams and the late Tommy Williams and Thelma Donerson and the late Robert Donerson Sr., all of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of Emma Beavers and Ronnie Thigpen, both of Bay Springs. He is the grandson of Willie Agee and the late Gladys Agee and Annie Lee and the late Lester Thigpen, all of Bay Springs.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen colors were tangerine, clover and ivory with a seashell theme. Seated as the bride’s godparents were Michelle and Charles Smith of Vicksburg.

Maids of honor were Cristy Donerson and Stephane Jackson, both of Vicksburg. Matron of honor was LaTonya Thomas of Vicksburg.

Bridesmaids were ShaKetia Mason of Vicksburg, Doris Jones of Bay Springs and Talishia Turner of Waldorf, Md.

Jason Wilson of Louin, Miss., served as best man. Groomsmen were Kendall Gray of Waynesboro, Stephen Bingham of Laurel and Chris Keyes of Taylorsville.

Usher was Rodney Thigpen of Bay Springs. Ring bearers were Jason Jameir Thigpen of Vicksburg and DeMarion Jones of Bay Springs.

Ariel Booth and Lon’Darrius McRunnels, both of Vicksburg, served as miniature bride and groom.

A reception followed at Ramada Plaza Beach Resort. Hostess and special assistant was Rinee Woulard.

For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Destin, Fla. They will make their home in Stringer, Miss. The bride is employed with the U.S. Postal Service, and the groom is employed with Howard Industries.


LaTonya Thomas, Cristy Donerson, Stephane Jackson and ShaKetia Mason honored the bride with a music-themed miscellaneous shower.
