Services for Luella Scott Williams will be at noon Thursday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Williams died Friday, June 1, 2012, at Covenant Health & Rehab of Vicksburg. She was 80.

Mrs. Williams was born in Dermott, Ark., to the late Alfonso Scott and Mary Buford Johnson. She was a longtime member of St. Paul M.B. Church, where she served as church secretary. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic School and trained as a nurse at Kuhn Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Williams Jr.

Survivors include four sons, Arthur James Williams and Ronald Lee Williams, both of Vicksburg, Dennis Michael Williams of Topeka, Kan., and David Dwain Williams of Dallas, Texas; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
