City man charged with counterfeit sales

A Vicksburg man was arrested Friday and charged with sale of counterfeit merchandise, Vicksburg police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.

Shadzidik Khurram, 48, 201 Berryman Road Apt. J74, was arrested Friday at 12:23 p.m. at 3505 Pemberton Square Blvd., All That Glitz, after an undercover investigation by the Vicksburg Police Department, Warren County Sheriff’s Department and the Mississippi Attorney General’s office. Khurram is accused of having more than 100 items in excess of $50,000 including counterfeit Coach, Dooney and Bourke and other purses, Stewart said.

Khurram was released on a $75,000 bond Friday afternoon, jail records showed.
