Five-year-old twins Kristopher and Kynnade Washington are all smiles as they move around to the song “Father Abraham” Monday during the summer enrichment program at the Kings Empowerment Center. Nearly 70 children are enrolled in the program, which will continue Monday-Friday through July 20. In addition to the summer enrichment program that focuses on character building, academics and sports, the center also offers a weekday feeding program from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. open to students not enrolled. Kristopher and Kynnade are the children of Aissa Washington.
