OWASSO, Okla. — Thomas Earl Allen, 65, passed away early Friday morning, June 15, 2012, in Vicksburg. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly. Mr. Allen was born in Vicksburg on Nov. 11, 1946. He was a graduate of Culkin Academy High School. His career in industrial construction included travels across the United States and overseas to Afghanistan and Taiwan. He enjoyed reading, watching movies, bass fishing and visiting with family. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Earl Allen, Sr. and Dorothy Marie Raines Allen; and brother, William Earl Allen Jr.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Allen of Oklahoma; and four children, Jason Allen (Tammy) of Vicksburg, Summer Woodard (Mike) and Justin Burton all of California and Taylor Allen of Oklahoma; three grandsons, Nicholas Allen of Vicksburg and Joshua and Jesse Woodard, both of California; two sisters, Kathy McMichael (Doug) of Edwards and Mary Lowry (Stephen) of Brandon; sister-in-law, Sally Allen of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Riles Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Burch, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the service.

Pallbearers will be Greg Gastrell, Len Raines, Neil Brooks, Kenny Channell, Steve Lewis, Joey Newell, Benjamin Brooks and Paul Beard.
