The Rev. Francis Jackson of Cangalore, India, will speak at the Richmond Civic Center in Tallulah Friday at 6 p.m.
Jackson, a 64-year-old Christian pastor and author, was raised in India and became an officer in the Communist Party.
He converted as he attempted to shut down a revival.
Today he leads a church of 1,500 people that holds services in five languages.
Jackson also operates a leprosy colony and Bible college, and he hosts a yearly ministers’ conference.
Jackson will be speaking about his work in India with Christianity, and the event is free to the public.
