Betty Bexley receives a set of meals from Caleb Carr, 5, the son of Todd and Susannah Carr, during the Stop Hunger Now meal-packaging program at Crawford Street United Methodist Church. About 100 volunteers attended the first of two meal preparation meetings, said Pat Ware, assistant program manager with the program’s Jackson branch.
