Jordan Bo Whitfield and Chelsea Margaret Fields were married at 7 p.m. April 20, 2012, in a candlelight ceremony at Triumph Church of Vicksburg. The Revs. Jason Whitfield and Michael Fields officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Michael Fields of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. George Y. Baladi of Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Fields of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Jason Whitfield of Birmingham, Ala. He is the grandson of the Rev. and Mrs. Darrell Wilson of McCalla, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Whitfield of Columbiana, Ala.

The bride was escorted by her father. Musical selections were presented by Landy Maughon, pianist, and Rynn Edwards and Mitch Beauman, soloists.

Matron of honor was Kelda Bailess of Vicksburg. Maid of honor was Deidra Gullett of Vicksburg. Bridesmaids were Deirdre Fields of Beaumont, Texas, Jade Whitfield of Birmingham, Mary Reagan Baladi of Madison and Sara Grace Jobe of Richland. Junior bridesmaids were Anna Baladi of Madison and Chloe Bailess of Vicksburg.

Jerry Cunningham of Birmingham served as best man. Groomsmen were Ty Shirey of Monroe, La.; Anthony Fields of Beaumont, Texas; Mychal Winters of Vicksburg; and Josh Maughon and Zack Sims, both of Birmingham. Landon Maughon of Vicksburg served as junior groomsman.

Flower girl was Sophia Whitfield of Birmingham. Ring bearer was Charlie Maughon of Vicksburg.

The bride’s parents hosted a reception at the B’nai B’rith Literary Club. Greeters were Toby and Molly Waters.

Guests were entertained with music by Ted Holman and band.

Special assistants were Story Ebersole, Delilah Gullett, Molly Waters and Jeanelle Carraway.

For a honeymoon, the couple traveled on a seven-day island cruise. They will make their home in Vicksburg.

Rehearsal dinner

On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a themed rehearsal dinner for the wedding party, special friends and out-of-town guests at Triumph Church Fellowship Hall. Guests enjoyed a slideshow.

Luncheon

The bride and her attendants were honored with a luncheon at Anchuca Mansion the day before the wedding.

Engagement party

Landy and Stephanie Maughon honored the bride and groom with an engagement party. Hostesses were Theresa Brooks, Stephanie Maughon and Delilah Gullett.

Showers

The bride was honored with a shower at Triumph Church. Hostesses were Lorraine Ghrisgby, Becki Logue, Betty Price, Dr. Kimberly Winters, Neva Price, Kelda Bailess, Pam Jobe, Molly Waters, Camille Buxton, Ginny Clanton, Beth Fields and Krystal Norris.

Kelda Bailess and Pam Jobe honored the bride with a lingerie shower.
