Mayor Paul Winfield has been installed as president of the Mississippi Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials at the summer conference of the Mississippi Municipal League in Biloxi.

Winfield’s term is for one year. He will be responsible for increasing participation among elected officials, serving as a liaison to the Municipal League and advocating policy decisions of particular interest to the African-American community.
