J.C. and Charlotte Pittman will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 14, 2012. They were married in 1962 at Skeen Baptist Church and have been Vicksburg residents for 32 years.

J.C. retired from Mid-South Lumber, and Charlotte retired as a pediatric nurse practitioner from the Mississippi State Department of Health.

The Pittmans have four children, Stacey Pittman Gugert of Atlanta and James Pittman Jr., Keith Pittman and Sondra Pittman Wooten, all of Vicksburg. They also have 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Their children have honored them with an anniversary luncheon.
