About 35 to 40 RV enthusiasts are expected converge on River Town Campground on U.S. 61 South starting Thursday for a four-day campout.

Card games, board games, dominoes, singing exhibitions and other games will be part of the event put on by Red Carpet Sams, the local chapter of the nationwide Good Sam RV Club, organizer Sonny Hickman said. The campout ends Sunday.

RV owners expected to attend will represent seven Good Sam chapters in Mississippi, Hickman said.

Founded in 1966, the national organization has 1.2 million members.
