Lillie L. Baker

TALLULAH — Lillie L. Baker died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport. She was 80.

Mrs. Baker was born in Dunn, La., and had lived in Tallulah most of her life. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include six sons, Burley Baker of Pineville, La., Wayne Baker and Tommy Baker, both of Keithville, La., Billy Baker of Kilbourne, La., David Baker of Bay St. Louis and Terry Baker of McKinney, Texas; three daughters, Betty Westmoreland of Newellton and Shirley McNamara and Linda Mantooth, both of Marshall, Texas; one brother, Buford “Boots” Isaac of Grinnell, Iowa; one sister, Frances Wuichet of Plantersville, Miss.; 26 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. William Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at the Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her sons.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
