Services for Raymond “Bo” Hodge will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul M.B. Church in Edwards with the Rev. Hugh T. Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 7 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Hodge died Friday, July 13, 2012, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was 70.

He was born Aug. 19, 1941, in Edwards to the late Sherman Hodge Sr. and Mattie Alexander Hodge. He attended Edwards Attendance Center and Utica Junior College. He worked at Hill City Oil Co. for 33 years.

He attended St. Paul M.B. Church in Edwards.

He was preceded in death by six sisters, Jeneva Hodge, Ollie B. Hodge, Rebecca Allen, Maggie Hill, Lettia Hodge and Mattie Moffett; and six brothers, Junior Richardson, Sherman Hodge Jr., Elijah Hodge, John Hodge, Lester Hodge and Henry Hodge.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Hodge of Edwards; three sons, Anthony Hodge and Desmond Brookshire, both of Edwards, and Donald German of Vicksburg; one sister, Irene Johnson of Jackson; and grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including Robbie Hodge of Edwards and Margaret Hodge of Jackson.
