A Vicksburg teen faces misdemeanor charges following two bouts of vandalism at a city park.

A 15-year-old was arrested Friday night and faces charges of trespassing and malicious mischief for damage caused at the Fuzzy Johnson Memorial Park, 401 Mission 66, said police Capt. Bobby Stewart.

About 7:30 a.m. Friday, city workers reported that someone had entered the concession stand at the park and knocked a hole in the roof, but nothing was reported stolen, Stewart said.

The concession stand was vandalized again Friday night before the teen was arrested, Stewart said.

The park is owned by the City of Vicksburg, which contracts out the concession business, he said.
