RIDGELAND — Michael Earl Hamilton died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. He was 64.

Mr. Hamilton was born in Cambridge, Mass. He lived most of his life in Jackson and Ridgeland. He retired from the Mississippi State Tax Commission, where he was an auditor.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Stewart.

Survivors include his mother, Delilah Hamilton of Ridgeland; and friends and other relatives, including Milton C. Ewing III of Rolling Fork and Russell Stewart of Anguilla.

Services will be at 3 today at Golden Link Cemetery in Anguilla under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home of Rolling Fork.
