PORT GIBSON — Mindy Mobley died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 54.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Lee Hensley; her stepfather, Gerald Johns; and a sister, Tina Ayers Willis.

Survivors include her husband, George Mobley Sr.; a daughter, Monica Hannah of Port Gibson; three stepsons, Charles Storks of Washington, D.C., and William Mobley and George Mobley Jr., both of Port Gibson; her mother, Faye Johns of Pleasantville, Tenn.; a brother, Richard Hensley of Liberty, Texas; eight grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Welcome Baptist Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. James Buck officiating. Burial will follow at Mobley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home with family hour from 7 until 8, and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.
