PORT GIBSON — Theresa Fields died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. She was 98.

Mrs. Fields was a member of China Grove M.B. Church in Lorman, where she was a mother, secretary and choir member.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Susie Fields; and a brother, Aaron Fields.

She is survived by a daughter, Lenora Trevillion of Port Gibson; her granddaughter and caregiver, Sheila Trevillion of Port Gibson; and nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives, including David Fields of Philadelphia, Pa., and Ratrece Trevillion, Jessica Trevillion and Brittany Trevillion.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at China Grove M.B. Church with the Rev. Leon Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at McCay Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 today at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and Saturday at the church from noon until the service.
