DeMoville, Mims are wed at St. Paul Catholic

Larkin Edward DeMoville III and Marion Leigh “Marlee” Mims were married at 3 p.m. June 9, 2012, at St. Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. P.J. Curley and Monsignor Patrick Farrell officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Lloyd Mims of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Louis Richard Theobald Jr. and the late Mr. Theobald and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Crawford Mims, all of Vicksburg.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larkin Edward DeMoville of Columbus. He is the grandson of Mrs. Shelby Lamar Mikell Jr. of Columbus, the late Mr. Mikell of Ridgeland and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Allison DeMoville.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Music was presented by the St. Paul Choir; Karen Harrison, organist; Elias Arredondo, trumpeter; and Glenda Arredondo, cantor. Soloists were Marcia Weaver of Vicksburg and Jason Walker of Utica.
Sarah Renee Franco of Starkville, Lauren Virginia Fordice of Dallas and Bonney Beatrice Neill of Brandon presented programs and personalized prayer cards.
Maid of honor was Chandler Glenn Mims. Bridesmaids were Melissa Anne Easley and Anna Catherine Taylor, both of Jackson; Sarah Mitchell Ballinger of Brandon; Mary Myers Franco of Meridian; Kathryn Ryan Lagrone of Ocean Springs; Mary Lindley Mims of Madison; Brittany Willis Morgan of Sturgis; Courtney Elizabeth Rogillio of Clinton; Amanda Caroline Wells of Columbus; Jennifer Hart Burke of Memphis; and Ednah Elizabeth Federick of Lake Charles, La.
Larkin Edward DeMoville served as best man. Groomsmen were Douglas Bruce Branch, Terry Wayne Brown Jr., Leyton Mikell DeMo-ville, Derrick Conn Forrester, Joseph Brent Hallmark, Andrew Blake Olsen, Richard Wilkes Spann and Richard Blake Woodruff, all of Columbus; Benjamin Larkin Ellis of Hernando; Matthew Lloyd Mims of Vicksburg; and Benjamin Joshua Pierce of Starkville.
Ushers were Louis Steven Alexander of Starkville, Matthew Tyler Chisolm of Caledonia, Clifton Jerry Holifield of Beaumont and Keylon Thomas Pittman of Columbus.
Flower girl was Marion Miller Theobald, godchild of the bride. Ring bearer was Lawson Pryor Mullins of Starkville.
Special wedding assistant was Lori Israel Flanagan.
A reception followed at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center. Special reception assistants were Gary Thomas and Rhonda Wright.
Guests were entertained with music by Phat Hat of Baton Rouge.
For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to St. Lucia. The bride and groom will make their home in Columbus.
Rehearsal dinner
On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Roca Restaurant. Guests were treated to a slideshow of the couple’s childhood, prepared by the bride’s sister.
Bridesmaids’ luncheon
Rosie Barret, Staci Plunk, Burnie Ratcliff, Sweyn Simrall, Fronia Theobald, Dani Thomas and Dette Vedros hosted a bridesmaids’ brunch at The Nogales House on the day before the wedding.
Engagement party
The bridal couple was honored with an engagement celebration at the home of Howard and Belynda Waring.
