Ethel Marie Lane Richie Cessna died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. She was 71.

Born in Vicksburg, she was the daughter of the late John James Lane Sr. and Annie Mae Miller Lane. Mrs. Cessna was a graduate of St. Francis Xavier Academy and a member of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Richie; and three brothers, Jack Lane Jr., Louis Lane and Joe Lane.

She is survived by two daughters, Jeannie Richie and Tammy Cessna Hays, both of Vicksburg; two sons, Walter L. Richie II of Flushing, N.Y., and Joey Cessna of Vicksburg; one sister, Ann Lane Lee of Vicksburg; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Living Water Christian Fellowship, 2075 Culkin Road, under the direction of Riles Funeral Home.
