A Vicksburg man was arrested Thursday on a warrant accusing him of grand larceny in the theft of tools from a home on Grange Hall Road, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.
He said Timothy Buford, 52, 5615 Jeff Davis Road, was arrested about 2 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of Impala Drive. Buford was being held without bond in the Warren County Jail awaiting an initial court appearance.
He is accused of taking two commercial grass trimmers, two cordless drills and three jacks reported missing from a storage building near the house on Aug. 16. Pace said the victim knew Buford and told deputies that he had recently been on the property.
