Vicksburg man,19, sentenced to 3 years for statutory rape

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:

• Jacoby Jamal Walker, 19, 1612 Bodley St., pleaded guilty to statutory rape and was sentenced by Circuit Judge Isadore Patrick to three years in prison followed by two years’ probation, $1,800 restitution and $384.50 in costs. Walker was indicted in May.

Also, one arraignment was held and one waiver of arraignment was received for defendants indicted by the July term of the grand jury.

• Michael Gilmore, 39, 591 Dudley Road — larceny of a motor vehicle with enhancement as a habitual offender, May 18.

• Shadzadok Khurram, 47, 201 Berryman Road, Apt. J74 — two counts of sale of goods bearing counterfeit trademarks or labels, April 10.

• Justin Neal, 19, 388 Lewis Road, Rolling Fork — statutory rape, Sept. 1, 2011.
