• Shelton Headley of Port Gibson won the Reserve World Championship Barrel Racing title Aug. 8 in Oklahoma City. Shelton and his American Quarter Horse, All Legs N Diamonds, competed against 82 entries for the champion honors at the 2012 Built Ford Tough American Quarter Horse Youth Association World Championship Show. The event included American Quarter Horse exhibitors, ages 18 and under, from around the world. He is the son of Dr. David and Jazell Headley.
