The engagement of Scarlet Bloodworth to Jamie Bagby, both of Vicksburg, is announced today. The wedding will be at 6 p.m. Sept. 22, 2012, at the B’nai B’rith Literary Club. A reception will follow.

Ms. Bloodworth is the daughter of Richard and Linda Miller of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Wheeler and Patsy Prescott of Reform, Ala., and Stella Myers of Vicksburg.

Mr. Bagby is the son of Jimmy and Lee Bagby of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Dot Bagby and the late Red Bagby of Vicksburg and the late Mavis Phillips and the late Jack Phillips of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The bride-elect is a 1992 graduate of Warren Central High School. She is an independent consultant for Pampered Chef as well as Rodan & Fields Dermatologists.

The prospective groom is a 1985 graduate of Warren Central High School. He is an instrument and control supervisor for Entergy at Grand Gulf.
