Lawn gear, video games hot in city

Lawn equipment and video games were missing this morning following two burglaries Wednesday in Vicksburg.

At 4:57 p.m., a Craftsman 6,000-watt generator valued at $850, a Troy-Bilt tiller valued at $250 and two Lawnboy mowers valued at $125 each were reported stolen from a storage shed in the 3700 block of Parkview Street, police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.

At 6:49 p.m., seven Xbox 360 video games valued at $50 each were reported stolen from a home in the 700 block of U.S. 61 North, he said.
