Services for Ernestine Fisher Carter will be at noon Wednesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Wednesday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carter died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at Forest Hill Nursing Center in Jackson. She was 78.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Williams and Estella Walker; and two brothers, Henry Williams and Grandver Lacey Jr.

Survivors include three sons, Ray Fisher Sr. of Vallejo, Calif., Larry Fisher of Vicksburg and Michael Fisher Sr. of Detroit; four daughters, Diane Fisher Williams of Detroit, Sharon Fisher Hill of Vallejo, Connie Fisher Walker of Vicksburg and Shelia Fisher Keys of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Josie B. Jackson of Vicksburg; one brother, Len Williams Sr. of Vicksburg; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including members of the Fisher, Walker, Tribble and Williams families.
