PCA seeks answers for offensive funk

A blanket of warm, humid late summer air hung over Porters Chapel Academy’s Eagles Field on Friday night. It coated everything it touched in a sticky film of sweat and sapped the energy from many in attendance.

Its effects, clearly, extended to PCA’s offense.

For a second straight game, the Eagles struggled to move the ball and score points. They managed only 152 total yards against Newton Academy, allowed three sacks, turned it over four times and came out on the wrong end of a 26-6 final score.
