Blame the Republicans

This is not your grandparents’ GOP!

Republicans created the economic crisis and have perpetuated it with all deliberate intent They huddled up (I can get the names) the very night of President Barack Obama’s inauguration to plot the obstruction and destruction of his presidency. They have kept the recovery at a snail’s pace and sabotaged it at every opportunity so that they could “ride in” like a “white knight” and “save” this country.

A record 86 filibusters. Bi-partisan bills from the Senate were dead on arrival at the House, all the while promoting fear in the minds of many of the president’s “difference.”

The radical right and the neo-con Republicans promoted the labels of foreign, not one of us, dangerous unknown, socialist, Marxist, fascist, etc., with Nazi-style propaganda. Sadly, there are far too many people who have the same mindset as the 1930s German people and have swallowed their propaganda hook, line and sinker, whether it was against him personally or his policies. You don’t believe it? Then you haven’t been observant for the last 3½ years.

This Republican party is a danger to this country. They have all the big money and want all the big power. They will gut social and environmental programs, education and health care in order to add $1.5 trillion — yes, trillion — to the military to “keep you safe.” Those are funds the Pentagon hasn’t even requested. You will be scrabbling for shelter, education and health care, but you will be safe from (insert imaginary enemy here).

They will then “create” a war for all the “righteous” reasons and make billions in profit from it, again, while our young men and women die.

I have voted Republican in my life, but not this time.

Think for yourself.
