Linda Dianne McBroom died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at University of Alabama Medical Center at Birmingham. She was 61.

Born in Monroe, La., Mrs. McBroom was the daughter of the late Woodney Rose and Eula Mae Wright Rose. She was a graduate of Holly Ridge High School in Holly Ridge, La., and had been a resident of Vicksburg for 32 years. Mrs. McBroom was formerly employed by the Street Clinic and was a preschool teacher for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Todd McBroom, of Vicksburg; a daughter, Kristi McBroom Smith and husband, Albert, of Brandon; a stepdaughter, Jenny Kille and husband, Tim, of Jacksonville, Fla., a brother, Dennis Ray Rose of Rayville, La., four sisters, Barbara Lenard of Downsville, La., Carolyn Walters of Downsville, La., Elaine Hayes, of West Monroe, La., and Kathy Arsement, of Lafayette, La.; and four grandchildren, Austin and Justin Smith and Clayton and Gracie Kille.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two sons, Jamie Foster and Woodney Todd Rose.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Riles Funeral Home with the Rev. Grant M. McElveen , Pastor of the Puckett Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Riles Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be George Arsement, Brad Bryan, Jessie Moon, Jasper Lumus, James Ross and Bubba Matthews.
