Fire damaged a vacant home on Culkin Road this morning, Warren County Fire Coordinator Jerry Briggs said.

The fire was reported about 7:35 a.m. at 871 Culkin Road, Briggs said. Damage was contained to one room, and the blaze was extinguished in 10 minutes by Culkin volunteer firefighters, he said.

The cause was under investigation, he said.

The Warren County property tax rolls indicate J.C. Gillis is the owner of the house.
