Tallulah: A three-game losing streak — all against teams with better records within the district — has put the Trojans’ playoff hopes on life support. They’re 21⁄2 games behind Glenbrook for the fourth and final playoff berth in District 3-A, with a game against the Apaches looming next week. Tallulah will likely need to win its last four district games to have any chance at the postseason.

Amite: The Rebels have lost eight straight games dating to the end of last season, and have struggled mightily this year. During their 0-4 start, they’ve been outscored 200-39 and given up at least 40 points in every game.
