EDWARDS — Phalesha L. Gaskew died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at her home in Edwards. She was 26.

Ms. Gaskew was born Nov. 14, 1985. She graduated in 2005 from Raymond High School and attended Virginia College.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Zhnerriya Daijah Gaskew; and her grandmothers, Lucy Warner and Nellie Winslow.

She is survived by one son, Xay’Marrian Bradley of Edwards; one daughter, ZyTarriah Gaskew of Edwards; her mother, Lucy Gaskew of Edwards; her father, Walter Gaskew Sr. of Edwards; three sisters, Donna Warner and Roshanda Myles, both of Edwards, and Clarice Irving of Pearl; a brother, Walter Gaskew Jr. of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including Jeremy Marshall.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at United M.B. Church in Edwards with the Rev. Elzie O’Neal officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul M.B. Church Cemetery in Edwards. Visitation will be from noon until 6 today at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.
