Allison Ameen, left, and Kate Simrall, 8, were winners in the 5th Annual Bark in the Park 1-mile walk at Riverfront Park Saturday. Simrall won first place with Lilly, a 3-year-old mixed breed, while Ameen won second place with Diesel, a 2-year-old mixed breed. Proceeds from the event go to PAWS Rescue. Kate is the daughter of Holly Hood and Will Hood.
