Dewey McKay

Dewey “Bubba” McKay died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. He was 53.

A native and lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mr. McKay worked as an engineer on offshore boats.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Dewey McKay Jr.; a brother, Richard McKay; and a sister, Terry McKay.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Hodge McKay of Vicksburg; four sons, Joshua McKay of Alabama, Jamie McKay of Florida and Dani McKay and Andi McKay, both of Vicksburg; and one sister, Sheryl Broadwater of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Marvin Curtis officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon Friday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Robert Harper, Roy White, Terry Kleinman, Johnny Hodge, Mike Hodge and Charles Holifield.

Honorary pallbearers will be T. Lee Kleinman, Willie Kleinman, Alan Kleinman, Michael Baker, Jeremiah Stevens, Billy Mayberry and Keith Baker.
