McKeithen, Burnett to marry in Oxford

Mr. and Mrs. William S. Mc-Keithen II of Oxford announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelsey Key, to John Robert Burnett III. Mr. Burnett is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Robert Burnett Jr. of Port Gibson.
Miss McKeithen is the granddaughter of Luther Moore and the late Maureen Moore of Vernon, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William McKeithen of Philadelphia, Miss.
Mr. Burnett is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Nelson Jr. of Port Gibson and Mrs. John Robert Burnett Sr. and the late Bob Burnett of Bay Springs.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Oxford High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Mississippi, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Mississippi School of Nursing in 2011.
Miss McKeithen is a registered nurse at the Mississippi Children’s Heart Clinic.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of St. Aloysius High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration, graduating cum laude in 2011 from Millsaps College. He received the Else School of Management Scholarship and the President’s Service Award Scholarship. He was named an SCAC Academic All-American while playing football for the Majors and was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.
Mr. Burnett is attending physical therapy school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
The wedding will be at 4 p.m. Oct. 27, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Oxford.
