At 11:45 p.m., a witness saw Dobbs break into a 2008 Ford Mustang in the parking lot of Provincial Garden Apartments, 3120 S. Frontage Road, and steal a flashlight and a tire pressure gauge with a combined value of $10, Stewart said. The two also broke into a 1997 Lincoln Town Car in the same parking lot but did not steal anything, Stewart said.

Items stolen from the Explorer and Mustang were recovered, Stewart said.

The two were in the Issaquena County Jail awaiting their initial appearance in Vicksburg Municipal Court.
