Gloria J. Fields died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at Lakewood Regional Medical Center in Los Angeles, Calif. She was 60.

Mrs. Fields was born Oct. 19, 1951, in Vicksburg to Willie and Maggie R. Fields. She was baptized and a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Craig D. Williams Sr.; father, Willie Fields; a brother, Robert A. Fields; and a sister, Dorothy M. Fields.

Survivors include her mother, Maggie R. Fields of Vicksburg; five sisters, Virginia Fields of Compton, Calif., Ruby L. Wilson, Ida A. Bass, and Edna M. Washington all of Vicksburg, and Joyce A. Fields of Southaven; two grandchildren; and uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with Rabbi Ahmetahee ben Israel officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
