PORT GIBSON — Nathaniel Minor Sr. died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at his home in Port Gibson. He was 70.

Mr. Minor is survived by his wife, Bertha Minor of Port Gibson; two sons, Nathaniel Minor Jr. of Port Gibson and Jonathan J. Minor of Dallas; two daughters, Destiny L. Minor of Port Gibson and Teresa Ringo of Charleston, S.C.; two stepsons, Percy Graise of Pascagoula and Johnny Graise of Dallas; one brother, Morris Minor Jr. of Port Gibson; two sisters, Dorothy Curry of Port Gibson and Mariah Brounson of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at New Come and See Baptist Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Lonnie O’Quinn officiating. Burial will follow at Engleside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 6 today at Thompson Funeral Home of Port Gibson and Saturday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
