A Vicksburg man accused of auto burglary was in Issaquena County Jail this morning without bond pending his initial court appearance.
Arthur Hodges, 45, 4020 U.S. 80, was arrested at his house Friday at 3:36 p.m. and charged with the Tuesday auto burglary in the 1300 block of Warrenton Road, police Capt. Bobby Stewart said. About 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, a purse valued at $50, an iPhone valued at $30 and two flashlights with a combined value of $30 were reported stolen from a 2000 Chevrolet Sierra.
Stewart said the vehicle’s window had been left partially down.
