Services for Dannie Lee Steed will be at noon Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 3 until 5 at the funeral home.

Mr. Steed died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at Covenant Health and Rehab. He was 86.

Mr. Steed attended the Claiborne County schools and worked in the logging industry.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Hamilton; and his parents, Jim and Annie Bell Robinson Steed.

Survivors include a sister, Bessie Hamilton of Marrero, La.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
