A Vicksburg woman was held without bail this morning in a 2010 robbery for which her husband has been indicted.

Mia Johnson, 37, 1001 First East St., Apt. C, was arrested at 8:59 p.m. Wednesday at her home on a warrant for strong-arm robbery, police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.

Johnson and her husband, Edward Johnson Jr., 49, whose last known address was 1609 Main St., are accused of robbing a 76-year-old man of $2,100 Nov. 12, 2010, at a BP gas station at 3595 U.S. 61 South, Stewart said.

Edward Johnson was arrested shortly after the robbery following a foot chase, Stewart said, but Mia Johnson fled in a vehicle and could not be found until this week.

Edward Johnson was indicted in January 2011 and is scheduled to stand trial April 1. Mia Johnson was held without bail today in the Issaquena County Correctional Facility.
