A medley of vintage photographs, diary entries and personal accounts have been fused together by authors Rebecca Blackwell Drake and M. Kenon Ruska in their book, “Lift High the Cross,” which will be dedicated at 10 a.m. Oct. 27 at the church’s 155th fall festival.

The book comprises 30 chronological short stories from the church’s first day until now, Drake said.
